Privacy Policy

Huizhou Zhenghaihui Trading Co., Ltd., operating Dewvella at https://dewvella.com/, is responsible for the personal information we process to run our store and manage our relationship with you. In this policy, “Dewvella”, “we”, and “our” refer to that company.

This notice explains our information practices when you browse, order products, use store features, or contact us. It is an explanation of those practices, not a request for blanket consent to every use of information.

1. Information and Sources

The information involved depends on how you interact with us:

- Contact and delivery details: your name, email address, telephone number, and billing or delivery address, supplied when you order or contact us.
- Order and transaction records: products and options selected, quantities, order numbers, payment status, transaction references, delivery events, and return or refund records.
- Account and preference information: information associated with any account you use, saved preferences, and consent or opt-out choices.
- Communications and submissions: enquiries, feedback, reviews you choose to publish, and evidence you provide about a product or delivery problem.
- Device and browsing information: IP address, browser and device characteristics, cookies or similar identifiers, pages viewed, and interactions with store features.

You supply some information directly. Other information comes from website technologies or from Shopify, payment providers, and delivery or other service partners in connection with their services. Payment providers receive the credentials needed for your chosen method; the transaction information made available to us depends on the provider. Please do not send payment credentials in a support message.

2. Purposes and Legal Bases

We use relevant information to accept and fulfill orders, arrange payment and delivery, communicate about purchases, manage returns, and answer enquiries. We also use information to keep records, protect the store against fraud or misuse, maintain website functionality, and understand and improve the shopping experience.

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, order-related processing is generally necessary to perform our contract with you or take steps you request before a purchase. Accounting and other mandatory records rely on legal obligations. Appropriate security, support, and business administration may rely on legitimate interests after considering your rights. Activities requiring consent, including certain marketing and tracking, rely on that consent.

Information needed to complete an order is necessary to provide that service. If it is not supplied, we may be unable to process the purchase. Optional marketing consent is not a condition of buying.

3. Marketing Communications

Where permitted and with consent where required, we may send emails about Dewvella products and offers. You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or contact support@dewvella.com. Unsubscribing does not stop necessary service messages, such as order or refund updates.

If an optional SMS or MMS program is offered, its enrollment notice will explain the program and its withdrawal instructions. A telephone number supplied for delivery is not, by itself, permission to send promotional texts. Any messaging providers receive information for the functions they perform, subject to the applicable notice and law.

4. Recipients of Information

We disclose information relevant to the services performed by our partners. These can include Shopify and technical service providers; payment and fraud-prevention providers; fulfillment and delivery partners; customer support services; and providers supporting email, analytics, or advertising features.

For example, a delivery provider needs recipient and parcel details, while a payment provider needs information to complete and assess a transaction. Some providers process information under our instructions; others have responsibilities of their own, as described in their privacy notices.

Information may also be disclosed where you request it, in response to a valid legal obligation, to establish or defend legal claims, or in a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards. These purposes do not authorize unrelated unrestricted disclosure.

5. Shopify and Payment Services

Shopify supplies the platform for our online store. It processes information needed to host the store, support checkout, and provide relevant platform features. Certain Shopify services, including services that use interactions across merchants, involve Shopify's own processing responsibilities.

Details of Shopify's consumer practices are available at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy/consumers. You can also use https://privacy.shopify.com/en for requests concerning information for which Shopify is responsible.

Review the notice of the payment provider you choose for information about its processing. Using a separate provider does not remove Dewvella's responsibilities for information or services that we control.

6. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising Choices

Store technologies help maintain a basket, support checkout, remember preferences, and protect against misuse. Analytics and advertising features may also use identifiers and browsing or purchase events to measure activity or show relevant advertising.

Advertising-related disclosures can fall within legal definitions of “sale”, “sharing”, or “targeted advertising”, even without a payment for the data. Rights and available controls depend on applicable law.

Visit Your Privacy Choices at https://dewvella.com/pages/data-sharing-opt-out to see the available advertising opt-out instructions. You can also contact us with a privacy request. Where required, a recognized Global Privacy Control signal is treated as an opt-out request for the relevant browser or device. Different devices or browsers may require separate choices.

Where consent is required for optional cookies or similar technologies, we seek it before those technologies operate. You may change available cookie preferences and use browser controls. Blocking essential technologies may prevent basket, sign-in, or checkout features from working. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

7. Retention and Security

We keep identifiable records for as long as needed for their stated purpose and applicable obligations. Relevant factors include fulfillment of an order, support and dispute periods, accounting or tax requirements, fraud prevention, and the management of an account or consent record. Different records can therefore have different retention periods.

When there is no continuing purpose or legal requirement, information is deleted or made non-identifying as appropriate. We use reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect the information we handle. No online system can guarantee complete security. Keep account credentials private and limit sensitive details in ordinary correspondence.

8. International Processing

Our operating company is in China. Shopify and other partners may process information in other countries, including the countries from which they provide platform, payment, support, or logistics services. This can involve transferring information outside your country of residence.

Where applicable law requires safeguards, international transfers must use an appropriate lawful mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards. For EEA or UK data, these may include applicable standard contractual clauses and UK transfer arrangements. You may contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.

9. Your Rights and Requests

Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of information, correct it, request deletion, obtain portability, restrict processing, object to certain uses, withdraw consent, or opt out of qualifying advertising disclosures. These rights have applicable conditions and exceptions; for example, some accounting records may need to be retained.

Email support@dewvella.com with the subject “Privacy Request” and explain the request. We may ask for proportionate information to verify identity or an agent's authority. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any lawful restriction on fulfilling the request. We will not unlawfully disadvantage you for exercising a privacy right.

You may contact us to raise a concern or, where available, appeal a decision. You may also complain to the competent data protection authority; contacting us first does not remove that right.

10. Children and Public Submissions

The store is intended for adults making purchases. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children below the age protected by applicable law. A parent or guardian who believes a child has supplied information can contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Information you intentionally submit for public display, such as a product review, can be visible to other people. Do not include private contact details in a public submission.

11. External Links and Policy Updates

An external website has its own information practices. Please review its notice before providing information there.

We may revise this policy when our services, practices, or legal requirements change. We will update the date and give additional notice or obtain consent where required. A revised notice does not retrospectively authorize a use that previously required your consent.
